Step By Step Dance Academy is a neighborhood, family-friendly dance studio located in Shelton, CT. We offer classes in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Pointe, Tumble and Hip Hop. Ages 2.9 by December 31st and up in a non-competitive environment.
Our dance season runs from September to early June. We offer an exciting performance opportunity with our professional, yearly Recital held at The Palace Theater. We continue to offer dance training during the summer months as well. Dancers at Step By Step Dance Academy also have the opportunity to participate in Master Dance Classes and field trips!
Our state-of-the-art dance studio has a professional sprung, dance floor. This is important to the health of a dancer's body. The floor 'gives' to movement to protect joints from injury. The studio is beautiful as well as clean! Offering dancers a 'home away from home.'
Step By Step Dance Academy has ample, well-lit parking along with a comfortable lobby for parents. Viewing windows are located in the lobby to watch the dancers in action. We also have a sibling play area complete with play kitchen as well as an indoor playhouse. We offer personalized attention in our exclusive dance school.
