Why Are We Unique?

  • All classes are kept small with 1 teacher and 1 assistant in the class at all times.

    • This ensures that each student receives the individual attention he or she needs.

  • The Director, Stephanie Rose is certified with Dance Educators of America, The Lebed Method and Preschool Education.  She is also certified in First Aid and CPR.

    • A person may be a wonderful dancer, but this does not mean they are a wonderful teacher!  To be a good teacher requires much training.

  • Step By Step Dance Academy's recitals are well-organized, themed and only last 2 hours.

  • The Director/Teacher continues to take dance classes and attend numerous dance related workshops throughout the year.

    • This is to keep the studio up-to-date with various new dance techniques and styles.

  • All costumes chosen for our recitals are age-appropriate and modest.  Each song played in the studio or at the recital have been screened for appropriate lyrics.

  • Miss Stephanie is not only the Director of the studio but also the 1 teacher.

    • Each student as well as their family are not just another number at our studio.  Miss Stephanie cares about each and every one individually as a dancer but also as a person.

  • Classes are offered in Tap, Ballet, Jazz and Pointe.

    • The advantages of having only 4 subjects in a dance studio is that our students can concentrate on these specific subjects and achieve higher levels of performance rather than be distracted by too many disciplines.

  • We do not participate in competitions.

    • We are a school for dance in a non-competitive environment.

  • Low Tuition and Costume fees.
    • Excellent quality costumes for each recital are chosen for a very reasonable rate.
  • All dance shoes and supplies are ordered through the studio.

    • Parents no longer have to make a day out of buying their children's dance supplies at a retail store.  Parents have commented on how convenient it is to order all supplies right at the studio.
